Test & Evaluation Engineer

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Test and Evaluation Engineer to join our team in the Lexington Park, MD area. This is an on-site position.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Provides engineering, technical, and managerial direction for problem definition, analysis, requirement development and implementation for complex systems in the engineering discipline required to meet technical requirements.

Makes recommendations and advises on system development, improvements, optimization, or support efforts.

Performs risk assessments and analysis employing modeling and simulation techniques.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related field.

Experience should include the following elements:

Knowledge of systems development lifecycle

Knowledge of systems engineering principles

Knowledge of DoD 5000

Knowledge of CMMI

Knowledge of ISO 9000

Knowledge of rapid prototyping

Knowledge of Agile development

Preferred Qualifications

Top Secret Clearance preferred.

BS/MS Degree

Five (5) or more years of experience.

Technology Insertion, Prototyping, and integration

Test and Evaluation

AoA

NAVAIR processed to support requirements, design, analysis, verification and validation activities throughout all lifecycle phases.

Security Clearance Requirements:

Must be a US Citizen

Must have current/active Secret clearance, and be willing and able to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.

Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
