SUPERVISORY FACILITY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist in the Digital Analytics Information and TECH ADV Group Infrastructure, Safety and Environment DEPT, Facilities MGMT and Coordination DIV of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. Responsibilities You will act as the focal point for all facilities issues, and monitors changes to existing programs based on revised forecasts for available funding, acquisition, and performance scheduling considerations You will perform duties relating to facilities and space management, including the identification and analysis of facility requirements. You will make recommendations based on analysis and findings in the facility allocation, use, modification, and acquisition processes. You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees. You will evaluate methods and procedures used to produce work products and implements improvements as necessary. You will provide advice, counsel and instruction to staff members on both work and administrative matters. You will conduct complex studies and analyses involving large numbers of variables and multiple diversified organizations and develops facility management policy recommendations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09/12 grade level or pay band NM-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Functions in either an immediate or intermediate capacity and coordinates the efforts of three or more employees in positions classified in more than one pay plan (DP, DT, DA, DS, and/or DG), pay band, and/or GS (General Schedule) and/or FWS (Federal Wage System) grade level; 2) Establishes long-term task priorities, determines work procedures and methods, and guides employees and/or supervisors work; 3) Staff may include Federal civilian employees, military or uniformed service employees, volunteers, or other non-contractor personnel; 4) May also perform personal technical work and operate as a working supervisor.
