Your role at Clorox:

This position is responsible for coordinating Operational Readiness activities and processes for changes being implemented at the Burt’s Bees manufacturing plant. Change activities include product innovations, material sourcing initiatives, capital projects, and plant system upgrades. Lead the coordination of internal and external resources for the support of successful Start of Production (SOP). Participate in the development of Change Management related activities associated with site Journey Map objectives.

In this role, you will:

• Be the plant subject matter expert (SME) for all Operational Readiness activities.

• Manage product supply implementation of new products and/or product changes at the plant

• Create a cohesive work stream between manufacturing and the business for assigned projects changes.

• Develop effective processes and documentation to ensure Operational Readiness activities meet safety, quality, and production targets

• Be a resource to all Change Owners and other resources new to the Operational Readiness process

• Develop and manage communication of business project plans and status to key stakeholders.

• Develop, lead and participate in cross functional (within the plant) technical meetings to ensure plant and support resources provide necessary inputs for the plant to meet project deliverables.

• Coordinate external resources for on-site support during Start of Production. Lead special assignments or projects deemed necessary by the Leadership to support business initiatives.

• Use effective Voice of Customer feedback to identify a project’s OR work areas and activities, functioning either as a project OR lead or as a consultant/coach to other site OR Leads.

• Develop and manage KPI’s in relation to the change management process. Perform other duties as assigned.

What we look for:

A minimum of five (5) years of progressive responsibility in manufacturing or a BA/BS degree with relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

Interpret data, identify problems, evaluate resolution options, and make sound decisions.

Influence across the plant organization and collaborate with cross-functional teams within PSO and R&D.

Manage accountability in a matrix organization to achieve project objectives.

Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence (EQ) across all levels of the organization.

Microsoft Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint

Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Experience with World Class Organization tools and practices preferred

Strong knowledge of packaging and process equipment preferred

SAP and ERP knowledge preferred

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $69,600 – $127,400

–Zone B: $63,800 – $116,800

–Zone C: $58,000 – $106,100

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
