DESCRIPTION

Michael Baker is actively seeking Interns for the Peachtree Corners office! As a part of our team, the Intern will assist a specific department or various departments in technical duties and projects as assigned.

DESCRIPTION
Prepare engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids.
Assist engineers and/or inspectors with various tasks.
Work under supervision of a staff engineer or project manager.
Assist with data collection, input, verification, and manipulation

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Enrolled as Sophomore or Junior in pursuit of a bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Minimum of secondary completed coursework in students field of study.
Excellent English language skills, written and verbal, are essential to success in this role.
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office. AutoCAD or MicroStation design software experience may be preferred depending on department.
Ability to perform some duties in the field may be required depending on department.
