job summary:

An Energy Accounting Analyst is needed for a world class utility company. Remote work (must live in either West Virginia, Virginia, Ohio, Indiana or Michigan). This role manages metered data retrieval, validation, and reporting processes, resolves metering issues, ensures compliance with RTO market rules, and drives process improvements for transmission system settlements.

work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:

Oversee and support the daily checkout process.

Work with trouble customers to ensure their needs are met.

Detect and report data errors using in-house tools and business objects.

Perform validation checks on data and fill in gaps with estimates.

Work with meter technicians to resolve field issues.

Monitor changes in the Transmission System and adjust accounts as needed.

Provide billing quality data and troubleshoot customer issues.

Skills:

Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Business (six years of relevant experience) or

Associates Degree (eight years of relevant experience).

Experience with Transmission or RTO Settlements or performing statistical and data analysis.
