Position: In this role you will administer safety programs, training,
and management controls in assigned regions to mitigate loss potential.
Ensure compliance of safety programs by all employees and any
subcontractor(s) on project sites while following Walbecs core values.
Role and Responsibilities Primary focus is to uphold OSHA, MSHA,
Company, Site Specific safety standards and programs on job site Be a
leader and role model for safety Be willing and able to perform weekly
safety meetings in front of large crowds Able to train employees on
various tasks Be involved in incident investigations and complete
necessary incident forms Responsible for overseeing sub-contractor
safety Be on sites/in the field 80 to 90 percent of the time Attend,
Facilitate, and Organize daily & weekly safety meetings Conduct and
Facilitate and Weekly safety inspections Conduct, organize, and schedule
site visits and audits Provide Safety Policy guidance and interpretation
to field when appropriate Ensure countermeasures are properly identified
to prevent reoccurrence by utilizing a robust incident investigation
process Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the Safety Team
to develop solutions, programs, and policies Maintain Safety Information
System records and compile reports from database Other duties as
