Summary This position is located within the Directorate of Family, Morale, Welfare and Recreation (DFMWR) Support Services Division. Responsibilities Delivers Information Technology customer support services including system hardware/software installations, configuration, troubleshooting, customer assistance, and/or training in response to customer requirements. Communicates factual and procedural information clearly, orally and in writing. Gathers and analyzes basic facts and draws conclusions. Uses established industry practices, procedures or policies to determine an appropriate approach to problem resolution. Performs highly structured, entry-level work, guided by a specialist, designed to develop broader more in-depth knowledge and skills needed to perform higher-level assignments. Applies information security/information assurance policy, principles and practices. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Qualifications must be clearly verifiable in your resume. Work experience, education, and/or specialized training sufficient to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of Information Technology (IT) principles, concepts, and methods as well as skill in applying basic IT principles and practices in: Performing highly structured, entry level work designed to develop a broader and more in-depth knowledge and skill needed to perform higher level assignments; Communicating factual and procedural information clearly, orally and in writing, Gathering and analyzing facts and drawing conclusions, Data storage, software applications and networking. Highly Preferred Criteria: (All answers to the Highly Preferred criteria must be visible in your resume to get credit). Possess one (1) year Family Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (FMWR) work experience. Possess knowledge of RecTrac and CYMS systems. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
