Truck Driver

A gravel hauler, also known as a dump truck driver, transports gravel and other materials to and from construction sites and other locations.Some of their responsibilities include:

– Driving:Safely and efficiently operate a dump truck to deliver materials to various locations
– Loading:Ensure materials are loaded correctly onto the truck
– Inspecting:Check the trucks oil, gas, water, lights, and tires before and after each trip
– Reporting:Promptly report any accidents, injuries, or mechanical issues to management
– Maintaining:Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the truck
– Communicating:Keep in contact with dispatchers to ensure delivery schedules are met and to report any issues
– Logging:Maintain accurate driver logs
– Following rules:Comply with all safety rules and regulations
