Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking production line workers for the glass line. You will maintain production by offloading machines and hanging finished products for the painting line. You will lift up to 50 lbs of material at a time, inspect finished painted products, and stack them after inspection. Your responsibilities include keeping material moving down the line, hanging steel material, offloading steel, inspecting, and stacking. This general labor role requires little manufacturing experience, though experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred. You will perform production work such as pulling hooks from sheets, running the spinner, driving, and unloading sheets from the glass line. Success in this position is measured by maintaining efficiency goals to satisfy client needs and demands.

This is a fully on-site position in Dekalb, Illinois.

Work Environment

Large manufacturing plant environment with normal exposure to noise, dust, and hazards associated with working in a high traffic, heavy machinery, manufacturing plant. Typical work hours are Monday through Thursday, with potential overtime on Fridays (sometimes mandatory). Work hours may vary by area and can change at Managements discretion with prior notice.
