Department: Parts Description To support our ongoing growth, Maybury is
looking to add an Assistant Parts Manager to the team. This is a great
career opportunity for someone with exceptional leadership skills to
directly manage our Parts staff to ensure we are providing best in class
service to our internal and external customers. Key Position
Responsibilities: Monitor all parts transactions to ensure they are
processed accurately and timely by the Parts staff. Provide any support
needed including identifying and resolving problems and issues when they
arise. Act as the primary resource to the Parts Department staff, other
Maybury personnel, and external parties to address and resolve
parts-related issues and answer questions. Identify, develop, and
implement process improvements to optimize efficiency, minimize errors,
and achieve departmental goals. Oversee and coordinate the physical
inventory for our various parts locations to ensure accuracy; monitor
parts inventory levels and approve changes as needed. Oversee the core
return process and the weekly parts warranty return process to ensure
adherence to established policies and timelines. Maintain standard part
pricing structures in our systems for our parts vendors; update
information as necessary to ensure it is accurate. Work on special
projects as requested and perform other supporting duties such as
providing backup coverage for the Parts Manager and other Parts staff
members. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent and at least 3
years of related experience. Strong leadership experience or abilities
are essential; must think strategically and be process
improvement-minded as well as possess effective written and verbal
communication skills; and have strong organizational and follow-through
skills. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
required.
