Were seeking a future team member for the role of Director, Technology Control Management to join BNYs Technology Services Group (TSGs) Embedded Control Management team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA and is hybrid with minimum of three days in office per week.
In 2024, TSGs Embedded Control Management team will be responsible for managing Control activities spanning Regulatory, Internal Audit, Remediation Projects, and Control Issues.
Youll make an impact in the following ways:
Manage a portfolio of both high priority and day-to-day sensitive Risk and Control activities spanning Regulatory, Internal Audit, Remediation Projects, and Control Issues
Serves as liaison between TSG stakeholders and internal and external auditors, regulators, and other entities, ensuring proper and timely responses to inquiries
Develop comprehensive, impactful reports on portfolio activities for all levels of management, including C-suite.
Proactively lead preparation activities for anticipated and recurring audit, control, and regulatory related activities
Seek out opportunities-and provides insights and guidance-to continually reduce risk by improving processes and controls
Serving as subject matter expert on the ever-changing financial services and technology regulatory landscape
To be successful in this role, were seeking the following:
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.12 – 15 years of total work experience preferred. Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills to work across Engineering and Lines of Business to facilitate needed,strictly time-bound information gathering
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
Proven experience managing and prioritizing a high volume of complex, time-bound, sensitive projects in a corporate environment
