As a Senior AI Engineer in Security, you will leverage your expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning to develop innovative solutions for complex security challenges. You will be involved in several critical risk-scoring and dashboard initiatives for our security organization.
Equifaxs return to office (RTO) policy includes weekly onsite expectations each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Monday and Friday are remote work days.
Must be local to Atlanta and have the ability to commute to our offices in either Alpharetta, GA OR our midtown location

What you will do
Collaborate with a team to understand requirements, formulate algorithms, and build predictive models using machine learning and deep learning frameworks.
Preprocess data, ensure data quality, and deploy AI models into production.
Utilize AI to evaluate system security, and identify vulnerabilities, generating recommendations for improvement.
Adapt AI solutions to address emerging threats as technology evolves, working with large-scale structured and unstructured data.
Monitor AI solution performance and implement enhancements.
Utilize Google BigQuery/BQML and VertexAI for backend operations, write Bash/Powershell scripts, and develop APIs using Flask.
Implement data ingestion pipelines, design unit tests, analyze system issues, and collaborate with the DevSecOps team using Jenkins.
Apply modern software development practices such as CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-code, serverless computing, and microservices architecture.

What experience you need
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
7 years of coding experience, debugging, and troubleshooting, primarily in Python
1-3 years of experience applying AI to practical and comprehensive technology solutions
Deep understanding of machine learning and AI technologies (GCP or AWS), including the ability to design, train, and implement end-to-end machine learning models and use natural language processing techniques for automation.
Creative and strategic thinking in applying AI/ML to security challenges, considering user experience, change management, and process reengineering
Experience developing applications using web frameworks like Flask
Experience deploying AI solutions using Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines
Experience in data handling, management, and ETL processes
Experience with data extraction using API calls
Experience with big data processing solutions using BigQuery, PubSub, GCS, and others
Proficiency using source code control management systems like Github

What could set you apart
Experience with cloud service providers such as GCP or AWS, particularly BigQuery
Experience with Angular, JavaScript, JSON, XML, Powershell
Experience with GCP and/or AI technologies including Vertex AI, BigQuery ML, Generative AI Studio and pre-trained APIs along with common AI/ML frameworks (like TensorFlow, PyTorch or other ).
Demonstrated proficiency in using containerization technologies
Knowledge of Pandas Python library for data processing, manipulation, and analysis
Familiarity with Looker Studio or similar data integration tools
Prior experience developing Operational or Security Metrics
Knowledge of Security Domain and Controls
Experience working with ServiceNow CMDB / ITAM
Experience in Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, XP)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to articulate complex technical concepts effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, manage internal client expectations
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identify and respond with minimal supervision
