Job Description

We are seeking experienced Plumbers for multiple projects in the great Jacksonville area, focusing on new commercial construction. This is a temp-to-perm position with a competitive pay rate of $25.00 – $30.00 per hour. The work schedule is the 1st shift from 7:00am – 4:30pm, Monday through Saturday, with overtime available on Saturdays.

Hard Skills

Minimum 5 years commercial construction experience

Proficiency with PVC / CPVC (all plastic pipes)

Ability to cut and thread pipe

Reading and interpreting blueprints/specifications

Expertise in rough-ins and trim/fixture installations

Experience with domestic water and sanitary systems

Installing fixtures, hangers, and pipes

Measuring, cutting, threading, or bending pipe using appropriate tools

Planning and marking pipe installations

Detecting and locating leaks using pressure gauges

Assembling pipe sections and fittings using various methods

Installing pipe assemblies, fittings, and appliances

Directing helpers in pipe cutting, preassembly, or installation

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Jacksonville, Florida

Work Environment

Commercial Construction environments requiring focus and minimal distractions, with multiple subcontractors working in proximity. Must be able to work in Floridas summer heat
