Returns Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY / GENERAL DESCRIPTION: In the Returns Coordinator position, is responsible for Bin integrity audits, and Inventory accuracy of pick locations. The position is physically demanding and entails exposure to varying temperature zones. Based out of our Louisa, KY warehouse, you will be an essential part of our team that has been servicing customers and delivering fine foods since 1942.

Schedule: Monday through Friday:  7:00 am to 4:00 pm

Pay: $15.00/HR

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Perform duties in accordance with HACCP and SQF policies and  procedures.

Responsible for checking in all drivers returns; to include accurate coding for mispicks, shorts, damages, etc.

Accurately document errors into spreadsheet

One copy to be turned in to Matt Pack, Adam Cavins, and Joe Thompson at end of shift

Ensure all returns are put back in proper locations.

Validate all returns are in bin integrity form.

To perform cycle counts of all shorts (11am to 6:00pm)

All cycle count discrepancies to be documented on Bin Sheet and delivered to Matt Pack

To perform Daily Bin Integrity audits:

    N Cooler Audit of items in correct bin location

    Aisle audit to ensure eaches are in correct location.

To dispose of all damage (non-useable) returns

Report total # of credits (mis-picks, shorts, etc.) coded at end of day to Ops Leadership

During periods of downtime, to perform Negative On Hand checks.

Performs other relevant job duties as required.

Other duties can be assigned.

Job Qualifications:

Experience in a highly physical, labor-intensive position (ie. construction, distribution warehouse, equipment/machine operator, farmhand, freight handler or other positions which require continuous activity and heavy lifting and/or which deals with multi-temperatures)

Must have the ability to work in varying temperature zones, from freezer temperatures to non-air conditioned temperatures in the  summer.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and up to 80 pounds occasionally.

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

Must have the ability to adapt to changes in the work environment including the use and types of materials/tools, method and work instructions.

Must be a team player, including the ability to communicate well with others.

Must be able to work independently with little supervision.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to produce quality work.

Must have a strong service orientation.

Must be able to work a full-time schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays and overtime as required.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED

Foodservice or warehouse distribution experience

Experience operating equipment such as a pallet jack or powered industrial truck
