– High school diploma or GED, must be at least 18 years of age
– Possession of and ability to maintain a Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with required endorsements and demonstrated safe driving record
– Ability to regularly work extended hours; occasionally work weekends and evenings and travel out of town, but not overnight, for training; and occasionally respond to emergencies on a 24- hour basis and/or from an off-duty status
– Working knowledge of assigned department trucks and equipment with ability to maintain roads and highways, complete related maintenance, and follow safety measures
– Criminal background check
