Job Title: Sr. Buyer/Planner (Medical Device Industry) Job Type: Full-Time HYBRD
We are seeking an experienced Buyer/Planner to join our dynamic team in the medical device industry. The ideal candidate MUST HAVE ERP experience, preferably with Blue Yonder or SAP ERP, and proven procurement skills, particularly with medical device suppliers. This role involves managing planning, buying, and inventory processes to ensure efficient operations and supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
Source, purchase, plan, and schedule raw materials, packaging materials, parts, components, and finished goods through the production and inventory process.
Work with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, maintain quality, and meet production schedules.
Analyze data to determine factors affecting prices and ensure optimal cost management without compromising quality.
Oversee ERP planning and purchasing, ensuring purchase orders are executed correctly and efficiently.
Collaborate with internal teams (production, warehouse, and engineering) to ensure procurement schedules and material movements align with company needs.
Review forecast signals and place purchase orders with external suppliers.
Must-Have Qualifications:
Planning ERP experience, including Blue Yonder and SAP ERP.
SOLID experience in procurement, preferably in the medical device industry.
Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
PROVEN communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage buying and planning processes effectively.
Nice-to-Have:
Forklift operator experience.

Responsibilities
Source, purchase, plan, and schedule movement of raw materials, parts, components, and services through production and inventory processes.
Identify raw material and component requirements based on engineering and production specifications.
Analyze data in procurement mode to determine pricing factors and ensure the lowest cost with quality and reliability.
Coordinate with production, warehouse, and engineering teams for procurement, scheduling, and material movement.
Monitor supplier performance and collaborate on-demand analysis planning.
Keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes.
Manage and deliver assigned projects, overseeing design to implementation while adhering to policies.
Mentor and guide lower-level specialists; review and delegate tasks on projects.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives and influence decisions.
Provide in-depth analysis and recommendations for process improvements.
May manage projects and provide coaching and training within the job area.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Advanced knowledge in sourcing, procurement, and material management.
4 years of experience with a University Degree or 2 years with an advanced degree.
Experience in project management and process improvement.
Excellent communication and leadership skills for mentoring and managing projects.
