Welder/Fabricator

Job description
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reading
blueprints, fabricating and welding metal components to assemble custom flatbed trailers and other custom
fabrication. This role involves working with tools and equipment to support production processes.
Duties
– Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications
– Operate machinery such as Plasma cutter and press brake machine
– Utilize cranes and rigging equipment for material handling
– Perform soldering tasks as needed
– Fabricate and assemble structures using equipment such as saws, drills and welders
– Understand and follow schematics for accurate work
– Weld components in flat, vertical or overhead positions
– Inspect and test welded structures to discover flaws
– Ensure all work meets quality standards and codes
Skills
– Proficiency in blueprint reading
– Mechanical knowledge is essential for this role
– Ability to use hand tools effectively
– Welding expertise for various materials and thicknesses
– Capability to assemble and fabricate metal components accurately
– Familiarity with codes and standards related to welding
– Experience with Plasma cutting and Press brake machine operations
– Experience with automotive light wiring to assemble flatbeds
– Skilled in using cranes and rigging equipment for material handling
– Familiarity with schematics for accurate assembly
