Job Title: QC Technician
Job Description
Quality Techs spend almost 100% of their time on the production floor. They use computers that are standing alongside the lines to document all data and non-conformances. They are responsible for catching any products that are out of spec/non-conformance and escalating those to the QA Lead on staff. They will be regularly walking the lines and start each shift by setting up the quality equipment and verifying all is working correctly. They will also conduct visual inspections of the products to ensure they have clear labels, bar codes, etc.
Hard Skills
Monitor the statistical process control (SPC) software suite.
Monitor, measure, and document given line processes to assure conformance to product Master specifications.
Examine and document packaging components and finished product assembly for conformance to product Master specifications.
Program, calibrate, and assist in the setup of Hi-Speed check weighers, Videojet, and Marsh coders.
Program and monitor the Automated Inventory Management system for identifying and tracking finished production.
Place non-conforming product on hold for disposition by the QC Manager.
Pull product retain samples.
Soft Skills

Comply with all company policies and procedures.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

This is a fully on-site position in St. Louis, Missouri.
