Job Summary
This position is responsible for daily operational oversight and supervision of Primary Care staff in order to ensure the highest level of compliance and quality care is provided. Responsibilities include oversight, patient advocacy, implementation and ongoing assessment of patient care needs, monitoring patient/family satisfaction, data collection, process improvement, staff and team productivity and compliance with regulatory requirements. This position may supervise a combination of clinical and or non-clinical staff. The difference between the level 1 and 2 is the supervision of clinical and non-clinical staff.
Essential Responsibilities
Operations
Ensures daily activities are being assigned, monitored, scheduled, and coordinated across the team.
Ensures the highest quality of care is provided and in compliance with established policies and procedures and federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. This will be achieved by reviewing documentation, making visits with staff, reviewing care plans, participating in interdisciplinary care team (IDT) meetings, and reviewing patient satisfaction surveys.
Assesses hardware and software functionality. Works with leadership, IS and/or vendors to resolve any issues.
