The ideal candidate for this position will have prior cleaning experience, at least 6 months of customer service experience, effective communication skills via radio, and open availability for a flexible schedule.

Hourly rate is $19.78-$19.78 (based on applicable and specialized experience and location).

What will I be doing?

As a Houseperson, you would be responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Empty Room Attendant carts of soiled linen and trash.
Assist Room Attendants with stripping bedding.
Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers. Deliver items to guest room upon request. Assist in picking up dirty glasses and delivering clean glasses.
Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors. Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator doors.
Greet guests in a friendly manner.
Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair.
Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (for example: mattress flipping, furniture moves, etc.), as needed
