Service Desk Technician, (Temporary), Spokane Valley WA

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 4:00 pm
23.00 – 32.00 USD Hourly
Our Service Desk Technician is responsible for providing hardware and software service and support to Incyte Diagnostics users via phone, e-mail, voice mail, IM, and in-person: interacting with employees at all levels to resolve problems and implement new solutions.
You will:
Provide IT Service Desk service and support of end-user computers, devices, printers, phones and peripherals
Setup and configuration of end-user computers, devices, printers, phones, peripherals and software applications
Routine maintenance of computers, servers, devices, printers, phones, peripherals and software applications
Qualifications:
2-year degree in Information Technology or related field: Bachelors degree preferred
3 Years experience in IT preferred
Experience in the healthcare and/or laboratory industry, prefer
Experience with HIPPA and other regulations
Experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, TCP/IP, VPN, Scanners, Printers, Phone, Microsoft Outlook/Exchange
Familiarity with Service Management concepts and best practices
Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret common technical instructions, and have the ability to apply instructions to resolve end-user problems in a timely manner
Proactive follow-up skills to see tasks through to resolution and communicate problem status to end-users such as notification of completion, notification of delay, and explaining rationale
