Job Summary

Position Overview: The Senior Café Manager is responsible for overseeing all cafeteria operations from open to close, ensuring cost controls, quality, and sanitation standards are exceeded while leading a team of employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise staff in line with company policies and applicable laws

Interview, hire, train, and coach employees and entry-level managers

Plan and assign job duties, conduct performance reviews, and facilitate development

Ensure compliance with sanitation and cleaning standards

Maintain daily volume trend reports

Plan, market, and execute special events in the café

Perform additional duties as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience

3-5 years of upscale food service experience, with at least 2 years in management

Strong supervisory, training, and coaching skills

Knowledge of food service operations, including cash handling and equipment usage

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

ServSafe or Department of Health certification is a plus
