Job Title: All Terrain Forklift and Skid Steer Operator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced all terrain forklift and skid steer operator. The role involves driving a 12K Lull forklift and using a skidsteer to lift pallets of glass solar panels and torque tubes. Candidates must handle these items with care to avoid damage and use spotters as necessary. Responsibilities include offloading products from tractor trailers, transporting them to specified locations in the laydown yard or on-site, and assisting general labor and spotters with lifting, digging, and moving products by hand. Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds when needed.

This is a contract position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Axton, Virginia.

Work Environment

The role is based on the sPowers Cavalier Solar Project, a 3-month, 200MW project for AES. DCSS is the mechanical contractor on this project. Operators will be unloading and staging materials on the jobsite, working 5-6 days a week with 10-hour days. A per diem of $125/day is provided for days worked. The position requires working in all weather conditions.
