REALTY SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a REALTY SPECIALIST in the Marine Corp Installation Command (MCICOM) of MCAS BEAUFORT SC. Responsibilities You will provide responses to both internal and external agencies data calls and gather required data as necessary when requested to satisfy reporting requirements from these organizations. You will ensure that all acquisition/construction costs, new facilities, and those facility repair projects determined to be capital improvements are capitlized and reflected in the Real Property Inventory. You will conduct Real Property physical inventories to ensure the inventory database and records accurately reflect the number and category of assets on the ground. You will maintain property records to meet audit requirements and ensures all changes are correctly reflected in the system. You will prepare reports and other documentation as required. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Overseeing and managing the accountability of real property inventory, provide technical authority and apply configuration standards to develop and enforce tactics, techniques, and procedures to acquire, maintain, re-capitalize, and dispose of real property.
