Job Title: HistotechnologistJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated Histotechnologist to join our team. In this role, you will work daily with the Laboratory Information System (LIS), perform specimen component labeling in accordance with laboratory SOPs, and conduct microtomy of FFPE in accordance with SOP protocols. You will maintain a clean environment and equipment, prepare reagents for testing specifications, process and stain tissues and other samples, and verify all slide stains. You will work closely with pathologists, document, troubleshoot, and maintain all duties and testing, and collaborate with the Histology Supervisor, Pathology Manager, or Medical Director. Performing QA duties in accordance with company and laboratory SOPs is also a critical aspect of this position.
Hard Skills
AS or BS from an accredited school with 1 years of experience OR completion of an accredited Histology Program or equivalent with 3 years of experience
HT or HTL certification through ASCP
Histology or pathology experience (if entry level)
Microtomy, embedding, and special stain experience

This is a permanent position.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Work Environment
M-F – 8 hour shift, 2nd shift – 12pm to 8:30pm
