Barrett, Woodyard and Associates, Inc seeks a Commissioning Engineer in Norcross, GA:

Lead commissioning projects from project initiation to closeout, ensuring all systems are thoroughly tested, documented, and perform according to design specifications.

Collaborate with design and construction teams to integrate commissioning activities into project timelines, addressing potential issues early in the design and construction phases.

Develop comprehensive commissioning plans, schedules, and reports. Review design documents to ensure compliance with commissioning requirements and identify opportunities for system optimization.

Conduct on-site visits and inspections to verify the installation and functionality of systems, components, and equipment.

Develop and oversee the execution of comprehensive testing protocols to ensure that all systems meet design requirements and comply with industry standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges related to building systems, controls, and energy efficiency. Stay current with industry trends, codes, standards, and best practices related to commissioning, energy efficiency, and sustainable building practices.

Collaborate closely with project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and facility managers, to ensure successful project outcomes. Conduct energy audits, inspections, metering deployment, and measurement and verification of energy and demand savings.

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

12 months as Commissioning Engineer or related occupation.

Required proficiency with MO Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, working knowledge of Bluebeam Revu and CxAlloy TQ or Facility Grid; Ability to read and understand design plans and specifications.

Up to 25% travel to unanticipated project locations locally and regionally required.
