What You Will Be Doing:

As the AR Ops Support Supervisor, you will be responsible for daily processing of cash receipts and postings to customer accounts while supervising, training, and developing a team of Cash App specialists. You will assist in cash flow forecasting, monitor business vendors processes, and ensure operational controls and regulatory compliance in the accounts receivable functions. You will also play an essential role in assisting the credit and collections department in developing, implementing, and monitoring standard operating procedures to ensure cost effective workflow in research and resolution of unapplied cash.

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for daily processing of cash receipts and postings to customer accounts, including charging payments made by credit card, other adjustments to customer accounts for credit/debits and write-offs.

Supervise, train and develop a team of Cash App Specialist.

Identity daily unapplied amounts, post to customer accounts, call on back-up and provide AR.

Continually communicate and train team on standard operating procedures and key performance measures.

Ensure operational controls and regulatory compliance in the accounts receivable functions.

Ensure accurate receivables balances and statements by monitoring and coordinating all processing performed daily within the team.

Assist in cash flow forecasting.

Provide insights into shaping processes and procedures related to order-to-cash to drive performance and enable sales.

Establish key relationship with banks, vendor and other key departments of Yancey.

Monitoring business vendors processes to ensure daily operations are ran smooth.

Play an essential role in assisting the credit and collections department in developing, implementing and monitoring standard operating procedures to ensure cost effective workflow in research and resolution of unapplied cash.

Additional Responsibilities:

Participate in required safety programs, and working in a safe manner

Miscellaneous duties and reports as assigned by manager

Who We Are Looking For:

To be successful in this position you should have a bachelors degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Excellent customer service, organizational and communication skills are also required.

Education/Experience:

Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

5 years of experience in cash application, operations, or accounting.

2 years of people management and team leadership experience.

Experience in high volume, fast-paced, multi-diversion company.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

Strong understanding of cash application.

Strong customer service aptitude.

Collaboration mindset: seeks to build working relationships and partner with others to bridge gaps and solve problems. Partner with sales, work as one team.

Transformation focused: seeks opportunities and optimize processes and workflows in what relates to the AR.

Self-starter with a proven track of multi-tasking abilities.

Direct supervision of an individual or small team.

AR/AP experience.

Leading AR transformation and process optimization projects.

Managing a broad portfolio in a large corporate environment.

Experience in systems implementation.
