Job Title: GSE Aircraft Technician

Job Description

A leading manufacturer of Aircraft Ground Support Equipment and a Premier Service Provider is currently seeking 1 skilled GSE Mechanic. Candidates will perform preventative maintenance repairs on GSE equipment, execute light and heavy repairs, diagnose and repair engine mechanical issues (diesel, gas, and LP), and troubleshoot A/C and D/C electrical systems. The role also involves reading electrical and hydraulic schematics, utilizing computer software to diagnose Powertrain Management Systems, and repairing various systems such as 80 & 48 volt DC and Airstart systems. Continuous training to gain knowledge of the equipment and maintaining productivity levels is required.

Hard Skills

Ground Support Equipment experience

Knowledge of gas and diesel engines

Troubleshooting electrical systems

Troubleshooting hydraulic systems

Reading electrical and hydraulic schematics

Knowledge of Generators 400 hz and 28volt

Utilizing computer software for diagnostics

Repairing 80 & 48 volt DC systems

Repairing Airstart systems

Soft Skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Work Environment

Working at PBI with the ability to obtain an airport badge. 1st shift: 6am-2:30pm.
