Low Voltage Electrician

PeopleReady Skilled Trades is looking for Low Voltage Electricians for a local Palm Beach county contractor. Project locations are throughout Palm Beach county and surrounding areas.

Pay Rate: The pay rate for this job is $20 – $25 / hour

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems, such as security systems, fire alarms, and network wiring

Performs preventative maintenance on cameras, monitors, and other hardware

Punching down and terminating cable

Test and troubleshoot low voltage systems to identify and resolve issues

Performs complex service upgrades, reconditioning, retrofits for low-voltage power distribution products and systems

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of low voltage electrical experience

Experience with installation and maintenance of security systems, fire alarms, and network wiring

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

Effective communication and customer service skills

Reliable transportation to and from shop location on a daily basis

Possess tools of the trade
