Professional Service Industries, Inc. (Intertek-PSI) is a leading US based provider of construction assurance, testing and inspection in civil and commercial construction. Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing, geotechnical engineering services, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, and specialty testing.

The Administrative Assistant will support the Building & Construction Business by performing dispatching and scheduling of Field Technicians for various projects, as well as a full range of administrative duties.

What you’ll do:

Receive calls from clients and perform dispatching by scheduling Technicians for various projects

Create various documents, spreadsheets, etc. utilizing Microsoft Office Software.

Perform various general office duties including faxing, copying, mailing, filing, etc.

Assisting with end of month billing, Accounts Receivable, Collections, and Invoice payments

May assist with developing, updating and/or reviewing local operating procedures and/ or work instructions

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED required

Minimum of 2 years experience in an Administrative role required

Bilingual in English and Spanish is required

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Excellent prioritization, organization, and time management skills

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities

Ability to analyze and solve problems

Ability to plan, organize, and complete a variety of projects within established standards, objectives, and time frames

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree preferred

Experience working in the construction / engineering industry is preferred

Experience dispatching and/or scheduling field personnel is preferred

Experience and familiarity working with Microsoft Office suite preferred

Bilingual orally and verbally in English and Spanish preferred
