Position Summary: Reporting to the Director of the Office of Professional Education & Development, the Manager for the Office of Professional Education & Development is responsible for the management and execution of revenue generating non-degree/non-credit educational programs, including professional trainings, certifications, certificate programs, micro-credentialing/badging for legal and non-legal professionals, and in-person and virtual conferences/events. This role is crucial in driving and will be key in the collaboration of the planning, development, and execution of non-tuition revenue growth for the College of Law. The Manager will work closely with industry partners, subject matter experts, and internal teams to create innovative learning experiences that meet the evolving needs of both legal and non-legal professionals.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: Employment duties include, but are not limited to:

· Program Development

o Building and management of assigned programs. Including:

§ Building of Canvas courses, oversee student enrollment, creation of marketing plans, create and update webpages, routine maintenance on programs for quality assurance.

o Support the development and creation of program content for professional education courses, collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure materials are engaging, relevant, and aligned with industry standards.

o Collaborate with People Operations and the Dean’s Office to manage the hiring and onboarding process for program Adjuncts and Lecturers.

o Conduct annual research to identify trends in both the legal and non-legal industry.

o Establish professional partnerships with outside organizations to co-develop and co-market programs.

o Compile and distribute to the Director weekly reports on all individual program revenues.

o Evaluate program effectiveness and gather feedback from participants to improve programs offered

· Marketing

o Collaborate with the Office of Communications to develop marketing campaigns for each program. Including:

§ Blast emails, social media campaigns, and online ads. Exhibiting at appropriate industry conferences/events may be possible, and some travel may be needed.

o Manage the department’s digital badging software (Credly)

§ Badge design and issuance, data management, basic technical support for students

o Manage the Department’s social media pages.

o Develop ways to engage Stetson alumni (i.e., providing discount codes to alumni)

o Create and manage referral programs offering discounts for participants who refer new attendees

· Technology Support

o Provide basic technical support for all students and faculty in professional education programs.

o Research technology that would help with the creation and implementation of these programs.

o Create Tutorials and FAQ pages for the various programs to ensure ease of use for students.

Required Skills

Required Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: This position requires:

· Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Communications, or related field is required.

· 5 years of experience in higher education, professional education development, or related field.

· Proficient in Teams/One Drive, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, Publisher, as well as other brochure software and publishing tools (Canva), Zoom/Google Meet. Knowledge of the Canvas learning management system and Banner is strongly preferred.

· Knowledge of legal industry trends and continuing education requirements.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong self-motivation and initiative.

· Strong organizational skills and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands.

· Experienced and effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse communities.

Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision, and excellent follow-through is required.

· A high level of professionalism, organization, flexibility, and judgment.

· Ability to work flexible work schedule during busy office periods and some travel may be required.

· Some technical support experience preferred.

Work Environment: Work duties performed primarily in temperature controlled office, with frequent interaction with Stetson staff and faculty, as well as students/program attendees. Hybrid remote work schedules may be available.
