Maintenance Electrical Technician

The Russell County Maintenance Department is responsible to the Russell County Commission within Russell County not otherwise the responsibility of the State of Alabama or an incorporated area within the County.
We are looking for a Maintenance Electrician to work with us in maintaining and repairing electrical equipment and systems. You will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical equipment and systems are safe and functioning properly. Maintenance Electrician Duties:

– Maintain and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and
fixtures.
– Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical
systems.
– Install and maintain wire and cable, circuit breakers, and
fixtures.
– Maintain electrical
systems.
– Use hand and power
tools.
– Inspect
electrical
systems
and
components.
– Hire
and
train
technicians.
– Train new
employees

Maintenance Electrician Responsibilities:

– Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs of electrical
equipment.

install and control electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; understand and follow safety procedures and policies.

– Install and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and
fixtures.
– Replace
and
repair
electrical
wiring.
– Identify and test electrical
components.
– Install and maintain electrical
equipment.
– Troubleshoot and repair electrical
systems.

Requirements And Skills:
. 5 -10 years experience in maintenance electrical work
