TITLE: Cashier

REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/GED and 6 months of experience as a Cashier required.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Proficiency in swift sales and change calculations; Demonstrated accountability and accuracy in reconciling sales receipts and maintaining records; Service-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist patrons; Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment; Keen attention to detail for the upkeep of precise inventory and transaction records.

JOB DUTIES: Performing Transactions: Accurately process customer purchases by utilizing a cash register or POS system. Handling Payments: Accept various forms of payment, including cash and credit cards, and furnish change and receipts as needed. Assisting Customers: Deliver friendly and informative customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns. Upholding Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized cashier area to enhance the overall shopping experience. Security and Precision: Safeguard cash, prevent errors, and uphold accuracy through adherence to cash handling and verification procedures. This includes balancing the cash register, determining change, recording purchases, processing returns, and scanning items for sale.

SCHEDULE: 9am to 5pm, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week.
