Job Opening: WIC Health Professional/Public Health RN/BSN (40 Hours per week)

Work hours: Mon 10 AM- 6 PM and Tues through Fri; 8 AM – 4PM  With some evening/weekend on-call rotation.

Starting Wage: $21.81-$29.00 Hr. Commensurate with education/experience

Clinic work will include phlebotomy services; administering pediatric and adult vaccinations; providing direct patient care in well child, womens health and general clinic setting; presenting public health education in the community. WIC responsibilities include assessing nutritional status; nutrition and breastfeeding support, counseling, and education; and prescribing food packages. 

Must have knowledge of nursing techniques and methodologies; human relations, counseling; interviewing and education; public relations; community health problems; community resources; pediatric immunizations. Possess good clinical, communication, and computer skills.  

Minimum qualifications require a valid Ohio drivers license; have a vehicle for required travel and proof of current vehicular liability coverage. 

Education requires a minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing with a valid Ohio Registered Nurse License and be able to work flexible hours. Two (2) years of nursing experience is preferred.
