Summary The Dayton, Ohio VAMC is looking for a Program Analyst to support clinical technologies that further VHAs mission to deliver high quality and Veteran-centered care; to optimize individual and population health; to advance health care that is personalized and proactive; and to enhance the Veterans overall health care experience. Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to: Provide the critical technical and program support necessary to sustain Telehealth and Connected Care operations throughout Dayton VAMC/Health Care System using state-of-the-art, clinical technologies and partnerships which provide access to care to Veterans. Supports the delivery of health care through all Telehealth modalities: synchronous, asynchronous and remote monitoring; therefore, it is imperative that the incumbent is a subject matter expert (SME) for all Telehealth and Connected Care technologies as well as the information technology (IT) platforms, processes and systems that VA utilizes with which these technologies must integrate. Responsible for supporting Facility-wide clinical Telehealth and Connected Care initiatives primarily by ensuring smooth, efficient operation of all Telehealth modalities. Provides coordination and liaison activities with Information & Technology (OIT), Biomedical Engineering, Unified Communications Infrastructure Support (UCIS) team and other Service Lines, and works directly with the FTC and other facility staff to incorporate new technology, concepts and programs into new and existing systems. Serves as an SME for all Telehealth and Connected Care technologies. Expected to work independently to serve the needs of Telehealth and IT staff. The Serve in a versatile, flexible fashion to effectively and efficiently meet the everchanging challenges of both Telehealth and Connected Care programs. The incumbent may be assigned, as necessary, to support and assist with projects/assignments of a crosscutting nature that are the responsibility of the FTC. You may qualify based on your experience and/or education as described below: Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-07 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: Analyzes program performance data, prepares and distributes reports and work measurement data within the agency, provides productivity data by day, week. and month to support forecasting and scheduling programs, applies analytical and evaluating techniques to the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems, collects analyzes and distributes data concerning daily staffing trends to determine effective application(s), policies, and procedures, prepares a variety of recurring and special action reports utilizing data from maintained files and record databases. OR, Education: Applicants may substitute education for the required experience. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have 2 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a masters degree or masters or equivalent graduate degree OR, Combination: Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level. You must have1 year of graduate-level education or superior academic achievement. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religions; spiritual; community; student; social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience Note: A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. Physical Requirements: Work is mostly sedentary, but requires some bending, walking, standing, lifting, and carrying various reports.
