Program Summary

KBR is seeking an experienced Electronic Warfare (EW) Electrical Engineer that will provide integration and testing support for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) C-130J Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Office at Wright-Patterson AFB or Robins AFB.

Job SummaryThe EW Electrical Engineer will provide support for the development, integration and testing of a new EW system and will perform system engineering functions such as developing and managing systems level requirements, developing operational systems concepts, and performing systems level integration and test for the EW System.

Roles and Responsibilities

Provide engineering support in integration and testing of EW systems

Derive requirements for EW systems to meet mission needs

Validate and verify vendor products upon delivery of systems

Develop test plans/test cases/scenarios for EW system testing

Complete in-depth technical assessments, analysis, and evaluations for EW system

Analyze and assess system performance using M&S and/or test data

Generate official reports that contains the structure of the test events, the rationale on the structure of the test events, detailed analysis, conclusions, and suggested approaches for future development

Perform Requirement analysis / management for Electronic Warfare system

Evaluate and/or develop complex system architectures

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or other related field

10 years of engineering/EW experience

Experience with standard software pertaining to EW and/or aircraft platforms (i.e. C and MATLAB)

Ability to translate complex technical challenges into meaningful strategies and system roadmap and architectures

Hands-on laboratory/field experience

Strong technical writing and communications skills

Ability to work well collaboratively and thrive independently

Familiar with DOD acquisition process

Must have a DoD SECRET security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Engineering or related area

Reviews, develops and documents system level operational concepts and mission statements

Knowledge of EW M&S systems and techniques

Design knowledge of EW hardware and software
