Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

– Sources new sales opportunities national wide through lead
follow-up, cold calls and emails
– Proactively manages territory to increase sales volume and customer
retention
– Maintains high level of sales activity at all times by conducting a
minimum number of sales appointments
– Works closely with corporate sales team to understand objectives as
well as developing and implementing business opportunities and
reaching out to new customers
– Creates territory plans, pricing and understands business decisions
impact on Mauser Packaging Solutions and the marketplace
– Understands competitors products, processes and capabilities,
people and manufacturing strategies and strengths; Leverages this
knowledge to benefit Mauser Packaging Solutions.
– Meets with customers to build and maintain positive relationships on
a regular basis and provides product, pricing and service
information.
– Maintains high level of knowledgeability on product and industry
trends and updates
– Utilizes Salesforce software daily to update and manage accounts and
new business activities
– Reviews performance metrics to ensure achievement of monthly sales,
revenue and margin goals.
– Attends Sales meetings and Trade Shows to keep current on latest
trends and developments in the industry.

Requirements:

– Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education and
experience
– 10 years of experience in sales; manufacturing environment
preferred
– Experience with large territories a plus
– Proven ability to develop and implement territory strategies
– Successful negotiation and implementation of supply agreements
– Strong leadership, presentation and interpersonal skills
– Experience with SalesForce.com
– Comprehensive understanding of financial business and data analysis
– Self-motivated in fast paced changing environment
– Works from home office with moderate to extensive overnight travel
