Wellsville. Trimmr- Cannabis Apprentice – Entry Level
Job Type: Contract 1099
Shifts: 10-hour daytime shifts. Flexible scheduling 1-4 days a week M-F. You set your schedule. 10-hour shifts only: no starting early or ending late.
Location: We are a mobile post-harvest team, providing trim services at various cultivation sites throughout New York State. We are currently hiring specifically for an operation in Wellsville, NY in the Southern Tier in Western New York.
As an apprentice, you will be hired to cover a job area from your location up to a perimeter of about 1.5 hours from your home. So reliable transpiration and flexibility in your commute times is a must. You will drive to meet the trim teams each morning (varying distances from your home up to 1.5 hours). Team meetup is either at the Trimmr Depot or a location about 10-15 minutes from the growers trim site. After you commute to the Team meetup site, you will carpool the remaining distance together as a team from the meetup location to the Trim site.
JOB DUTIES
Efficiently trims and de-fans marijuana plants (wet and dry trim).
Trim product with care, ensuring high quality and visual aesthetics consistent with high quality cannabis.
Applies basic understanding of weights in grams and ounces to accurately weigh and record all wet and dry trim weights.
Occasionally required to trim off the stalk once plants are dry.
Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of all trailer or staging areas while trimming.
May be assigned other job duties as necessary.
Operate with kindness, integrity and honesty.
Communicate known issues to on-site team to ensure a smooth flow of operations.

MUST-HAVES:
At least 21 years of age.
Must be willing to submit to a background check. Those with non-violent felony offenses are still eligible for hiring.
ACTIVE Drivers License and a Reliable Vehicle.
You must be comfortable with commuting at times between 1hr – 1.5hr to various grower locations around New Yorks Hudson Valley area.
Be ON-TIME to Trimmr Team meetup location prior to the start of a shift.
Dedicated to keeping your commitments and show up for all shifts you accept: Last minute shift cancelations are unacceptable.
Ability to work well on your own and within a team.
Maintain a kind, friendly profession demeanor at all times.
Ability to work with your hands for 10 hours.
Ability to handle long periods of sitting and some periods of standing.
Light walking and stair or ladder climbing on occasion.
Good up-close eyesight.
Ability to lift and carry 30lbs or more for short distances.
Knowledge and familiarity with Cannabis, a passion for serving the cannabis community.
Works efficiently and strives to increase productivity.
Ability to handle and safeguard confidential and sensitive information.
Must Sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to not disclose information related to the cultivators location, operations or sensitive information.
Comfortable in at 1099 Contract position.

NICE TO HAVE:Education: High school or equivalent. (Preferred)
Experience in a complex, fast-paced environment.
