Merrick & Company is seeking a Regional Deliverables Alignment Driver
(DAD) with twelve (12) or more years of experience in the clean water
infrastructure consulting engineering market for a key position in our growing
Clean Water Infrastructure Engineering team. The individual in this position
oversees, coordinates, and drives the on budget, on time, on-quality
implementation of all Contract Document Deliverable Production (CDDP –
Plans, Models, Drawings, Specifications, and Reports) for our
projects in one region of Merricks water, wastewater, and reuse market.
This position will be located in our Denver, CO office; however, other
locations may be considered (Greenwood Village, CO; Colorado Springs,
CO; and Loveland, CO).
Typical salary range for this position is $145,000.00 – $153,000.00
per year. Base pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge,
skills, and experience.
WHAT YOULL DO

The Regional Deliverables Alignment Driver (DAD) oversees all contracted
deliverables produced by the 40 water, wastewater, and reuse
professionals located in Colorado.

The primary responsibilities of the Regional DAD are to plan, prioritize and
orchestrate work to meet contracted commitments aligned with organizational
goals. The Regional DAD provides direction, delegates, and removes
obstacles to get work done. The Regional DAD drives workload distribution,
supports project delivery across multiple teams, facilities standards
improvement, and institutes training required to successfully drive all
aspects of Regional Contract Document Deliverable Production (CDDP). The
role has heavy coordination with existing Technical Editing,
Administrative, Quality Control, CADD, Graphic Storytelling, and
Technical Practice Leaders, but is focused on aligning and orchestrating the
resources needed to efficiently produce the project specific contracted
deliverables in a region and across multiple clients and project teams.
The essential duties and responsibilities regularly performed and normally
assigned to this position are as follows:
Analyze and configure CDDP systems, processes, and standards with the goal
of improving efficiency of production teams.
Implement and support corporate/Water Resources Team CDDP standards,
organize and maintain CDDP files.
Assist corporate CDDP team with implementing training curriculum
Promote corporate CDDP standards, procedures and technology.
Coordinate new software implementation.
Collaborate with other design disciplines and Community of Practice (COP)
Leaders.
Ability to interface with clients and contractors, to follow schedules and
budget commitments, to work independently and within a team.
Meet expectations for attendance and punctuality and can problem solve.
Train and support office CDDP staff.
Troubleshoot and address issues with DDP and project files.
Manage and mentor other CDDP engineers, designers, technicians, and
other production staff.
Provide support for both hard copy and electronic submissions of contract
document deliverables.
Coordinate customization of CDDP Continuous Improvement Programs.
Perform Quality Control reviews for CDDP related submittals to assure
compliance with standards.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and on the job
technical training.
Minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in the water
civil/environmental engineering market.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in a water
civil/environmental consulting engineering firm.
Strong Knowledge of the water civil/environmental engineering industry,
regulatory, codes and standards and how those are translated into CDDP.
Client projects for this position require U.S. citizenship.
