Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
High School diploma or GED.
Three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment or at least
two (2) years of internal company experience in manufacturing.
Must pass the Intermediate Transaction Course within six (6) months of
hire date.
Internal soldering certificate preferred.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Good manual dexterity.
Ability to read and understand simple to complex assembly procedures,
drawings and schematics.
Ability to recognize acceptable and defective assemblies from procedures and
drawings.
Good soldering skills preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail with the ability to enter job transactions accurately and
in a timely manner.
Good organizational skills.
Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook and
manufacturing databases.
Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by
the department.
Working Conditions: Encountered on a regular basis as part of the work this
job performs.
Work is performed on a Manufacturing floor with some exposure to toxic fumes
and chemicals and some risk of electric shock.
Use of soldering iron, oscilloscope, de-soldering iron, small hand tools
and power tools.
Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel to assemble product.
Clear vision at twenty (20) inches or less, ability to identify and
distinguish colors, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus are
necessary to assemble small parts under a magnifying lamp.
Ability to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds to move product and equipment.
Responsibilities

Summary
The Production Line Lead is responsible for coordinating, training, and
assigning the work of Production Specialists and materials to meet daily
capacity and production schedules. The position serves as the subject matter
expert for the production line they are put in charge of. Performs efficient
testing, mechanical and electrical assembly, repair and/or rework of
company products and related sub-assemblies.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The Production Line Lead assists Manufacturing Manager, Supervisors,
Technicians, and Production Mentors by assigning and coordinating the work
of manufacturing Production Specialists on a daily basis
Distributes daily capacity and production schedules to Production Specialists.
The Production Line Lead maintains accurate inventory records.
Tests and/or tunes standard products within established time frames.
The Production Line Lead assembles standard products within established time
frames and quality levels, including mechanical assembly, electrical
assembly, gluing and packaging.
Coordinates the flow of materials and SRO/direct units to support compliance
with FIFO material flow requirements.
Repairs and/or reworks products and/or related sub-assemblies per
documentation.
Accurately completes all paperwork relating to jobs performed, including,
but not limited to, work order forms, Material Reject Reports, product
travelers, Inspection Reports, stockroom requisitions and forms, and
system dat
Inspects products and sub-assemblies for workmanship and compliance to
documentation.
Performs final product inspection before shipment.
Enters job transactions accurately and in a timely manner in order to maintain
accurate inventory counts
Participates and coordinates team related activities.
Cleans work area(s) daily.
Performs other duties as assigned.
