Sr Technical Architect needed by Blue Yonder, Inc. in Scottsdale, AZ.

DUTIES: Design, develop and maintain custom software applications.
Duties include: design, develop and maintain BlueYonder Luminate
Commerces enterprise fulfillment applications such as Inventory,
Availability, Sourcing, Capacity, Order Services and Order Fulfillment
microservices based solutions for customers eCommerce and omni-channel
order management requirements; work in the design and execution of
supply chain solutions in the order and inventory management space;
design and develop integrations between customers eCommerce, order
management systems, and BlueYonders Commerce services; develop
extensions in BlueYonders Commerce microservices according to the
designed solutions for customers using opensource technologies such as
Java, Spring boot, Kafka, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, REST services and other
technologies for developing opensource microservices; deliver
enhancements/features that will scale to peak volumes without
compromising on the SLAs; develop validation and testing frameworks to
validate solutions, and assist customer teams in conducting their
end-to-end test, performance, test and user acceptance test; develop
automation to for rapid deployment of containerized cloud native
microservices/applications; collaborate with Architects and subject
matter experts to understand functional/non-functional requirements and
develop technical architecture & design; improve existing processes to
create efficiency by use of automation tools and help in installation,
upgrades, maintenance of various fulfillment applications; develop best
practices, technical artifacts, reusable components and develop tools
and standard solutions that reduce the TCO for projects; provide early
visibility and mitigation to technical challenges through solution
implementation; and end to end implementation of the technical solutions
and integrations from design to go-live including supporting various
functional and performance testing cycles.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors (or foreign equivalent) degree in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in
the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or a
related/similar position. Experience therein to include:
5 years of experience in software development and implementation of
enterprise scale applications, Java/EE, and developing Java-based
microservices and interfaces;
4 years of experience in Microservices development, including Spring
Boot, API management, REST, NoSQL (Cassandra), React, Hazelcast, and
Kafka;
3 years of experience with deployment tools, including Docker,
Kubernetes, or Jenkins, and end-to-end implementation of retail
e-commerce, inventory management, and order fulfilment solutions,
through its complete life cycle including, design, development, testing,
and deployment; and
2 years of experience working in SaaS product environment and building
cloud native applications.
Requires traveling approximately 20-50% annually. Must be able to work
at various, unanticipated locations throughout the US. Telecommute role,
may work remotely from anywhere in the US.
