Job Title: EstimatorJob Description
The Estimator will provide costing for multiple construction projects, including multi-family residential, commercial, senior housing, medical, nursing, and biopharmaceutical projects. Responsibilities begin during the estimating process and conclude at project start/hand-off to the project management team. Projects will range from $100K to $5M with a possibility of 10-20 running concurrently.
Hard Skills
Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or a minimum of 5 years of experience in Estimating/Project Management
Ability to manage multiple projects at once (up to 10-20 concurrent projects)
OSHPD/HCAI experience
Knowledge of various estimating software
Project Management as needed
MS Office Suite competence
Soft Skills
Ability to work independently
Strong organizational skills
Attention to detail
Effective communication skills
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Irvine, California.
Work Environment
In office every day. Smaller company type environment. You will be expected to work mostly on your own with the owner until the transition phase of projects, at which time you will work more with the Project Engineers and Project Managers. Family company type feel with solid project sizes. Flexible start times but typically 7-3/8-4, but needs to be consistent.
