Site Location: Charleston, SC
Security Officer Morning Shift
Employment Type: Full Time
Starting Base Pay: $20.00 / hour
Workdays Available: Friday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Shifts Available: 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Must Be 21 Years of Age for Role
A Valid Drivers License
Experience 2 years
Previous Corrections or Law Enforcement Experience
Previous Law Enforcement or Military Experience
Must Have Great Customer Service Skills
Must Be Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet
Walk/Stand for Long Periods of Time
Work Outside in the Elements

Responsibilities:
– Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
– Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
– Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Minimum Requirements:
– Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
– Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
– As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universalwill consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
– As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
– Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs
– Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
– Must possess a valid Drivers Licensewith at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.
A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only
