JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for assisting warehouse operations, receiving shipments, cycle counting, stocking, and general preparation.
EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The list of essential functions below is intended to be representative of the tasks performed within this job. Other duties may be assigned based on business need.
– Receive incoming warehouse deliveries by unloading, sorting, and verifying quantities on packing slips.
– Maintain organization of all warehouse inventory, by ensuring all products are stored in their proper stocking locations.
– Provide internal material handling of products to include transporting products between work areas.
– Preform stocking functions; to include stocking in the freezer and chill section.
– Ensure the warehouse area is clean and organized.
– Ensure the Warehouse remains organized according to contract specifications.
– Operate forklift to unload trucks and move merchandise.
– Maintain and provide reports and other documentation as assigned. This includes, for example:
– Warehouse truck logs, proper counts, and production information.

– Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
– None
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
– Prior experience in a warehouse position.
– Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
– Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
– Must be able to pass a background screening for access to the work areas.
– Forklift certified or have the ability to become certified.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
– Warehouse experience operating a forklift, pallet jack, wrapping machine, etc.
In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions in order to perform this job successfully.

– Good administrative skills; comfortable performing multiple tasks concurrently; and attentive to detail for quality performance.
– Must be able to work harmoniously in a team environment with a diverse workforce.
– Work at a reasonable pace for the job duties assigned and physical ability.
– Good communication skills (e.g., able to effectively respond to common inquiries or complaints).
– Able to follow basic instructions with or without reasonable accommodation.
– Reasoning Ability: Able to identify issues or problems, evaluate and draw valid conclusions.
– Attentive to detail for quality performance.
– If required to drive, a current drivers license and clean driving record required. May be required to drive personal vehicle during work hours. Not all individuals will have to drive for this position.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Tasks involve the ability to exert moderate physical effort usually involving some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (up to 40 pounds). May involve some climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, walking, or standing. Reasonable accommodation, when practical, can be offered to accomplish the above requirements.
