Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
Summary of Job Duties: The Quality Control General Inspector is responsible for sorting finished products and raw material retention samples that have exceeded their required retention period into waste bins corresponding with specific disposal pathways.
Specific Job Duties:
1. Work in small teams to sort archived product and raw material samples into appropriate bins for disposal.
2. Use handheld scanners and/or a laptop computer to look up item codes and their assigned disposal pathways.
3. Use Microsoft Office to document sorted items.
4. Work safely in a warehouse environment.
5. Participate as a fully engaged member of a self-directed work team to achieve department goals.
6. Perform other support duties as needed, including document routing and various administrative and investigative tasks.
7. Perform all other tasks as assigned by upper management.
8. Understand industrial safety guidelines, federal standards, and follow SOPs. Training will be done on the job.
Hard Skills
Familiarity with OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations standards (HAZWOPER)
Understanding of industrial safety guidelines, federal standards, and following SOPs
Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or other inspection experience
Experience working in a warehouse environment
Use of powered lifting equipment

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Scotts Valley, California.
Work Environment
Manufacturing environment with loud machines producing nutritional products. The Quality area is quieter.
