– Develop and implement inspection procedures
and key quality metrics
for incoming materials, including headlamp and mirror system components, to verify they meet required quality and safety standards

– Coordinate and perform testing and analysis of incoming
parts and
materials to assess their suitability for production
;
– Utilize various testing methods to evaluate material properties and performance
;
– Identify, analyze, and report defects or non-conformities in incoming parts and materials
;
– Work with
engineers
to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions
;
– Collaborate with production, engineering, and procurement teams to address quality issues and ensure seamless integration of incoming materials into the production process;
– Develop and implement strategies to enhance quality control procedures and increase efficiency
;
– Analyze and address customer feedback related to quality issues
;
– Provide training and guidance to
local workers
on quality control techniques, procedures, and standards
;
– Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming parts and materials
and c
onduct supplier audits
;
– Provide quality support for new product introductions, including evaluating new suppliers and materials
;
– Assess and manage risks associated with incoming materials, including potential impacts on production and product quality
;
– Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department, applying Lean and Six Sigma principles to enhance quality control processes
;
– Ensure that all incoming materials and parts meet industry regulations and standards, including those specific to automotive headlamps and mirror systems
