Field Geologist

EnSafe is accepting applications for a Geologist or Environmental Scientist based out of EnSafes Cincinnati, Ohio office.

As a Geologist or Environmental Scientist, you will work on projects ranging from site investigations to regulatory compliance tasks, feasibility studies, and remedial design implementation. What You Will Be Doing:
Project management
Prepare Work Plans, Environmental Site Assessment Reports, and Safety Plans
Conduct site investigation activities (soil, groundwater, indoor air (VI), soil gas, groundwater, and stormwater sampling)
Plan and manage all aspects of Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments
Field documentation and writing technical reports
Develop technical recommendations for site assessment/remedial activities
Client management
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in geology, environmental science, or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years experience
HAZWOPER training and certification
Experience with multi-media environmental sampling
Experience with RCRA and CERCLA processes (RI/FS, RD/RA)
Understanding of Federal facility policies, procedures, and regulations
Knowledge of stormwater compliance laws and policies (SWPP and SPCC plans)
Staff management and supervisory experience
Proven project management experience
Ability to travel regionally including occasional overnight travel
Ability to work 30% in the field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ideally, youll also have:
Geologist (P.G.), or CHMM
Environmental investigation experience
Environmental consulting experience
