Shipping &Receiving/Hi Lo Driver

Staff Source is seeking Shipping & Receiving/Hi Lo Driver for Automotive Manufacturing Company located in Sterling Heights, MI.

Position is temp to hire, 2nd shift. 2:00 PM– 10:00 PM. Pay rate is $ 18/ hour

Job duties of Shipping & Receiving/Hi-Lo Driver:

– Follows shipping schedule and transports materials or equipment throughout facility
– Moving goods packed on pallets or in Material Bins around the Plants facility Shipping and Receiving experience including the tracking of inbound and outbound shipments
– Some packaging of materials
– Labeling of containers to include: Operation number; part count, weight, and correct packaging container
– Hi volume-fast paced setting — Hi stacking of materials
– Experience with Plex Software Preferred or other Shipping and Receiving Software is REQUIRED
– Use of scanner gun, securing loads, quality control, performing equipment checks
– Checking that loads are secure
– Performing daily equipment checks such as Hi-lo inspection
– Stacking goods, empty pallets, dumping material into machine hoppers, loading and unloading of goods from semi-trucks, and Storage Facilities
– Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines as required

Requirements:

– Must have previous experience with ERP System- Plex, SAP or Clips
– Must have 2 years or working in manufacturing setting
– Must be able to pass Drug Screen, Background Check
– Must be able to pass pre-employment physical exam
– Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, stoop, stand, walk pivot, and stand for long periods of time Copy of High School Diploma or GED
– Strong Computer Skills
