Assistant Infant Room Teacher

About Us:

Ms. C & Ts Leaming Place is a play base and educational daycare facility. It is our mission to provide quality care for children and families in the Saginaw area. Our learning program exists to provide infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children with an environment where he or she can feel empowered, safe and loved.

Responsibilities:

– Classroom Support: Assist the Lead Teacher in planning, implementing, and maintaining a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
– Child Care: Provide direct care to toddlers, including feeding, diapering, andcomforting.
– Curriculum Implementation: Assist with implementing age-appropriate curriculum activities that foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
– Staff Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Lead Teacher and other team members to ensure the well-being of the children.
– Parent Communication: Maintain open and positive communication with parents regarding their childs progress, supply needs and development.

Qualifications:

– Education: High School Diploma or GED Required.
– Experience: Minimum of six months of experience working with toddlers in a childcare setting.
– Certifications: CPR is not required upon employment but preferred.
– Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
