Summary Under the direction of the Product Team Leader – Automotive, the
Associate Product Manager is responsible for managing product and market
related activities to support, promote and grow the market for the
products assigned. Essential Functions: Support multiple product lines
by assisting in product planning, product launches, product training,
marketing literature, market presentations, sampling, product forecasts,
and product price lists. Key contributor to website content and
competitive cross reference lists. Assist with new product development
activities and communicate progress to key personnel. Proactively create
recommendations for improvements to grow HellermannTytons market share
in assigned area. Generate sales and profitability reports and analyze
data and trends as it pertains to our business. Support product and
customer needs globally. Key participant in identifying and implementing
process improvements. Other Functions: Pricing and product analysis.
Product forecasting and inventory optimization. Active participant in
HellermannTytons LEAN initiative. Success in This Role Will Require:
Time management of key projects. Understanding of core marketing
processes and strategies. Excellent verbal and written communication
skills. Ability to work cross-functionally with all departments of the
organization. Knowledge of QS9000 and IATF16949 quality systems, and
ISO14001 environmental system. Customer oriented focus. What Youll
Bring: Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
Field of study in marketing or business administration preferred.
Minimum one year of experience or related internship in
business-to-business marketing of industrial or datacom products
preferred. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Microsoft Excel
and PowerPoint. Highly organized and detail oriented. Must have valid
drivers license, acceptable driving record and adequate insurance
